"art moves you in some way.It fits and feels right, or it doesn't fit in a way that feels deliciously wrong. You can talk all you want about brushstrokes or shades of green and blue but non of those are the things that move you. It's something else you might call spiritual".

relocation and new stuff
It was decided that it might be an idea to relocate my space into the loft where there is a little more natural light so I'm giving it a whirl...

Farewell old friend
This post is in memory of my friend and band vocalist Peter "hockers" Hockley who is now playing at the great gig in the sky with some of his heroes and inspirations. No doubt he has put Miles Davis right on a few things and sorted out Elvis's vocal techniques . He has probably re -arranged Angel Gabriel's horn parts by now.
Along with Jono "rich boy" Bradley , Robin Mason and yours truly Hockers formed "No Autographs Please" an acoustic blues band . We soon became the "BAKELITE BLUES BAND" an electric combo that sometimes turned out with three guitarist , harmonica and sax! Performances were epic. Peter would often leave for the bar mid song and leave us to finish off ! So many great memories of the residency at the Farmyard and The Peacock. One 45 minute set consisted of thee numbers "stormy monday " 16 minutes of heaven. "all along the watchtower" Peter would turn and say "Keefy whats the next verse" and Deadly would hold up cue cards for a joke in "you cant always get what you want ". When Peter was born they threw away the template. A true original.
